The towers have lay claim to an uncompromising standard of luxury and ocean views in urban living.

The twin 70 & 63 storey towers – Singapore’s tallest, located in the 21st century downtown at Marina Bay was completed in 2008.

Meinhardt provided integrated Structural and MEP engineering services for this complex project. The development includes a 6-storey podium housing a hub and tenant’s car park and a retail basement with links to adjoining buildings and Raffles Place MRT station. The towers are among the most slender in the world, with aspect ratios of 10.9 and 10.2 respectively.

Seismic design, whilst not a mandatory requirement in Singapore has been adopted to provide additional safety and integrity of this prestigious project. New York based architect NBBJ in association with Team Design Architects of Singapore conceived the sculptural design which resembles a glass sail. Kiat Inc was the architectural advisor for the developers – City Development Ltd and AIG Group, USA.
